Reflection

1.What technology did you learn to use?

I learned to use cap cut which is a popular app that can be used to make advertisements, edits, and videos. One of the biggest things that I struggled with was actually the sound which may sound weird as it seems easy. I also struggled with saving the video as no matter how hard I tried to it would not submit. Eventually I figured out the problem as I asked a friend, who shares the class with me, about what I should do. I learned how to upload videos to Youtube from my cap cut account so that people can view them on Youtube. I also learned the different ways I can embed the advertisement into my blog. Although I did struggle at first with allowing others to see the commercial through my blogger account but I resolved that problem quickly.

2. What did you learn about the process of putting a project together?

I learned that it can be very difficult to choose certain  pictures, videos and music for a single commercial. It also can take a few days to receive the music, picture, and video required for the commercial. At times you will change your mind often on whether you want that certain video or picture placed into your ad. It is important to keep in mind that when it is your first time creating a video it take a lot of time to figure out how to properly use the features on the app so researching will be a big part of it. When making a commercial it is rare to get the commercial exactly right on the first try and it will take multiple drafts. If it is your time making a commercial it is important to remember the ad won't turn out the what you exactly want it to on your first try. Finally, it can take a lot of editing to conjoin scenes together to make the commercial flow properly.

3. What do I think I can do to make the project better?

After finishing this project I feel like there was a lot I wanted to change or certain stuff that I just wasn't happy with. One of the things that I wanted to do was to add more videos and pictures but from a wider time range so that it would show how I was like when I was growing up. Another option for that would be using pictures that showed different aspects of my life like my favorite hobbies. I also wished I added more transition effects between each scene so that the transition could be smoother. I also wished I went more in depth about my life in the commercial. I also wish that I use a different song than the one that I chose perhaps something that fit my project a bit more. All in all I though that my commercial is okay but for the next project I want to experiment with the app and the features a bit more.
