hey guys its you favorite blogger coming in with a new blog! After being critiqued by my family members and friends went over the film to make changes. The first thing I did was I went straight to the easiest thing to do, the scene where spooky makes its first appearance.  I slowed it down  a bit so it was easier to see spooky in the scene.  Rather than having the speed at 1.2x, I brought it down to 1.1x. A fter I adjusted it, it made it better to notice and see spooky yet not interfere with the length of the video.  Next, I went through and found every scene that included titles. One of the feedback that I received was that the music was too loud whoever the characters were talking.  So, I lowered the volume a bit by using the mute bottom at the bottom of the screen that involved talking. This didn't take that long because only a small amount of scenes had no audio or conversation, meaning I had to edit the volume on post of the scenes. This process wasn't too bad but it too

Hey guys its your favorite blogger coming in with a new blog! Today I showed my friends and family the opening sequence of our film The first friend I showed was Kayla, she old me she liked the genre of the film but would like if the subtitles match the genre. She also said that the subtitles were too fast and should be a little slower since it was hard to read the words. The next person I asked was my next friend Moni I asked her what she thought about the film. She said she liked it  and thought it was a really good opening but wished the subtitles were slower as well. She also said the scene when spooky first appeared was really quick and she said she wished it was slower and that spooky was more visible. She also said that the flashback transition needed a little work since it looked kind of glitchy. I also asked my friend CeCe she also said she liked the film but wished that there was more transition through out the film. She also said that she wished that the transitions that wa

Hey guys its your favorite blogger coming in with a new blog! Today i will talk about the editing process of the opening sequence of our film a bit more. Yesterday I showed what I had to my team mates and they had a few recommendations of stuff I could due to enhance the editing of the film. The first was the title, originally I was going to change the color of the title from white to red.  It was decided that we should change the color from normal red to dark red since then the title would be more ominous. After doing that I look over a few font for the title, originally we were suppose to do Italic but since I found a new font marked terror I wanted to try it out. I tried and I thought it looked pretty cool but I felt like the font type didn't match our genre so I stuck with Italic. For the opening I used a fade transition for the title, so it would fade it then change to red. After doing that I realized I almost forgot to add the production company as well as the studio the film

Hey guys its your favorite blogger coming in with a new blog! Today I continued on my journey on editing the opening sequence of the film. Before I shortened some of the scenes from the opening sequence the video was around four minutes long. After I cut out all extra or unneeded scenes from the film I was left with three minutes and forty seconds. Then I shortened some of the scenes that had the action and cut sequence the video was around three minutes and thirty seconds. Then I tried to shorten up some of the other scenes in the opening sequence. At this point I was extremely annoyed at the situation, why couldn't the length of the sequence go down to the time limit. This is not the first time I have had the issue of trying to shorten the film time. This happened in my last project, the music video, as well. I do not understand why it is so difficult to shorten down the length of the opening. The last time I had this issue, I went to my teammates for help and they suggested to

Hey guys its your favorite blogger coming in with a new blog! Today I continued on my journey to edit the opening sequence of the film. I started today by adding on the music for the background song through out the film. This was a bit difficult to download the song from the website and get it into my editing app. I am not surprise it took me a while to figure it out since I always seem to struggle with placing the song in the app. I almost forgot but if I didn't tell you guys this but the editing app that I used is called Cap Cut. I really like using it since it is easy to use and doesn't really glitch like other editing apps. Its good that the app is easy to use because it doesn't really come with much instructions. Anyways back to the main discussion I eventually had to back through my blogs to try and remember how I added the song last time. I eventually remembered and added the song to the opening sequence of the film. The song I used was made by a popular artist Davi
