 Hey Blog its me Shadae I finished my first project last week and I am excited to start something new!

Today I will be starting on a project with two of my friends who are also my classmates. I am working with Madelyn and Giovanna and have known them for around 1-2 years each. I met Giovanna in freshman year in my study hall and I met Madelyn last year in my English class. There are many reasons as to why I wanted to work with them on this project. One of the main reason I want to work with them is because last year when we all shared a class we would always do group projects  and activities together. Which lets me know that while we are doing this project we will be able to work effectively. I also think that as we have all done so many projects together that I have firm understanding of their strengths and weakness when it comes on to certain aspects of the  project. They both are very goal orientated, organized, and hard workers which is one of the reasons I wanted to work with them. Which I believe it will make it easier to figure out what will be their strengths in this project.

The project we will be doing is a music video with an estimated time of 1:10 to 1:15. At first when we tried to pick out a song it was difficult deciding on which genre we wanted and where we wanted to film it. Then came the issue of what artists to use, we thought about using One direction, Pitbull, and the weekend and other artists. We eventually realized that we should change our strategy of picking a song in order to shorten the list of songs. In order to pick out the right song we have to first choose a power struggle that we wanted to work with. We ultimately decided that the power struggle we wanted to work with would be about cheating. Then came the issue of which song about cheating did we want to use and whether what decade we wanted it to be from. We eventually settled on love me by Justin Bieber which was made in the late 2000's. We decided on the song as it fit the criteria that we were going for and because it was a relatively popular song. I originally wasn't sold on the song but in the end decided it would be a good song as it fit our criteria.
