Production Blog: Final Task

Throughout the process of filming we had to deal with very tight schedules so by just finding a day where we could all film felt like a miracle.

Today we filmed the majority of the scenes for our opening sequence of the film. Everyone came over to Giovanna's house ready, prepped and in the right mindset to start filming. It was my first time that we used these actors/friends in any of our film. Except for of course our protagonist he was briefly in our last film/music video. These actors are friends of Giovanna's one of my teammates, and they are friends from her church. There was of course introductions amongst me and my team mates with these actors.

The first stop though was Target I didn't go though I had to make sure that everything was ready back at the house. We had everyone go over their scripts and practice certain transitions from different areas. From what I heard it was very difficult to do since Daniel the little brother was constantly getting distracted. This happened throughout the entire day which lengthened the recording time by a lot.

Though there was something I did not expect and that was who was going to be playing the antagonist. I thought it was going to be a guy friend of Giovanna's that she met at her church, but it wasn't. It turned about to be a girl I wasn't upset about this fact though since I didn't really know the guy nor did my other teammate. I was still kind of shocked though and I wish they told me that they were going to change the antagonist character.

Since they changed the antagonist I had to go back through my planning procedures to make sure that everything was right. Especially making sure that what was being shown in my planning procedure matched up to the film. The girl that replaced the original antagonist actor was amazing and she really sell the character well.

I am so excited about this film I can't wait to see the end!

 Hey Blog its me Shadae I finished my first project last week and I am excited to start something new! Today I will be starting on a project with two of my friends who are also my classmates. I am working with Madelyn and Giovanna and have known them for around 1-2 years each. I met Giovanna in freshman year in my study hall and I met Madelyn last year in my English class. There are many reasons as to why I wanted to work with them on this project.  Hey Blog is me again coming in with a new blog! We have reached the next step in making this project which is planning. Today I will be talking about the planning blog, the planning blog will talk what we prepared so far the music video. This blog will include the props, location, filming schedule, possible future plans and costumes for the music video. The location we will be mostly filming the music video is at the library. We thought this would be a good place to film as it matched the genre the best for our music video. Some other locations we planned to film include downtown Florida and the beach. The reason for this because there are a lot of scenic places in those regions that would be perfect for filming. For costume we decided a hat and sunglasses would be the major part of the costume since the lead who will be singing will wear the hat and glasses. Hey blog its me Shadae are you surprised, maybe not! Today I went to cap cut to finish my project and the worst thing had happened my commercial wasn't saved so the commercial was gone. I was beyond devastated so I decided to start making the commercial again. Luckily I have gotten used to most of the features on cap cut so it didn't really take me long to find the photos again. Then something you probably guessed would have happened well happened I change my mind on the pictures again. Well only one really I realized most of the videos were of me in one place so I decided to change he picture of me there for something else. The picture was of me at a restaurant with my family of course this was taken before they served the food. Then it was time to add the final piece of the puzzle to the commercial, the music.
