Production Blog: Music Video

Today we will be talking about the roles my group and I decided to take um order to get the music video done accurately. We decided yo give each other certain roles based on area of expertise so that it would be easier to finish the music video. Actually will dabble within the other regions at certain points so that we will be given a basic understanding of what us needed to make the music video. Mostly so we all would get the full experience of filming a video and all the other aspects of it.

I decided to work mostly in editing because I tend to pick up this topic easier plus I enjoy editing. I was also in charge of planning which mostly include props, location, costumes, and schedule. Madelyn will work mostly in filming especially since she can get the angles shot perfectly. She also did researching so we will find good transitions, angles, and other ideas we could usefor the video. Giovanna is our story board expert since she can draw well and can properly convey our music video ideas. She will also be the main star for the video and she will be playing the toxic love interest in the video. This if course will be alongside our male lead and other side characters which will mostly be friends.

Next I will recap some of the things that have been finalized for the video just to do a recount. We decided to film at a library the library is called Barnes and nobles and is close to where we live. We decided that filming on Saturday would be a good time since that it the day everyone is free. If we can't film on Saturday because of the weather or a conflict in schedules we talked it over and decided on a few other dates. Either Sunday or Monday will be our best bet since there is no school on Sunday and Monday is early release. The costumes for the video will mostly consist of casual clothing since it will be in a casual environment. The props will include some books and stationary equipment that will mostly be included in the first few scenes.

Production Blog: Music Video

Hey blog it me coming again with my last blog for this project Today I cut all the dance scene since I the music video was too long and I needed it to fit in the given time range.  Then there was the issue of the music I had some trouble getting the sound onto the music video. Since Cap cut didn't have the correct song for the music video I went to a few websites and streaming platforms to get the song. That didn't work so I had to download an app that allowed me to record the song then add it to the music video. It took a while for me to get the hang of the app since I had to record the song like three times. The first time the video wouldn't stop so it recorded and unnecessary amount of the music video. The second time I recorded the song I realize you couldn't really hear the song so I had to make a few adjustments to the app. Eventually I was able to get the song to be heard on the recording it turns out all I had to do was switch the audio setting.   Hello World,   My group and I got to the part of our project where we got to make a storyboard for our music video. Each box is a scene that will occur in our music video in the future, each scene will be a sequence of events.   Box 1: Justin Bieber (JB) is walking into a library with his two friends to study.   Box 2: The three boys walk into the library and JB notices that his crush is studying at the library as well.
