Production Blog: Music Video



Hello its your favorite blogger can you guess who, its me Shadae

Today me and my group did a review to make sure that everything is prepared so that filming can start as soon as possible.

Other than my group there is going to be an additional three people who will be in the music video.

Two of the three will be boys but we aren't sure whether the last character would be a boy or girl.

Originally there was actually another guy who was going to be playing the role of the male lead but they eventually gave up so he had to be replaced.

It was for the best since the guy that replaced him was a close friend of Giovannas so it made her more comfortable to film the music video with him.

I have 2 mutual friend who can fill in the last role once me and my group decides whether the last character will be a boy or girl.

I looked over the filming schedule and made sure that all the cast members of the music video fit with in their schedule. 

Me and my group decided to start filming on Saturday because that would be the day we have an available day.

If that day we cannot film we would most likely film on either Friday or Monday in case one of can't make it or the weather conditions aren't favorable.

Then I discussed with my group about whether or not we would want to add any specific editing to be done to the music video 

This was so that we could use the editing techniques to further highlight the power struggle with in the video. 

This was also done so that any transitions added in to the video would be smoother and more consistent. 

In fact my team member Madelyn made the suggestion to decrease and increase the audio whenever we do a fade in or a fade out.

The plan was to do the fade in and fade out scene at the beginning and end of the video or between scenes so that it would signal the transition. 

While planning we thought it was best to film at a library or a classroom eventually we decided the library was a better place

This is because it would be easier to get permission to film at library than at another school.

I recommend going to Barnes and nobles since it is the closest library to all of our houses and there is another shop close to the library where we could also film.

As for props since our man setting is going to be at a library we decided we would take advantage of the items already there like the books.

We are going to start filming soon and I am so excited to start!

Production Blog: Music Video

Hey blog it me coming again with my last blog for this project Today I cut all the dance scene since I the music video was too long and I needed it to fit in the given time range.  Then there was the issue of the music I had some trouble getting the sound onto the music video. Since Cap cut didn't have the correct song for the music video I went to a few websites and streaming platforms to get the song. That didn't work so I had to download an app that allowed me to record the song then add it to the music video. It took a while for me to get the hang of the app since I had to record the song like three times. The first time the video wouldn't stop so it recorded and unnecessary amount of the music video. The second time I recorded the song I realize you couldn't really hear the song so I had to make a few adjustments to the app. Eventually I was able to get the song to be heard on the recording it turns out all I had to do was switch the audio setting.   Hello World,   My group and I got to the part of our project where we got to make a storyboard for our music video. Each box is a scene that will occur in our music video in the future, each scene will be a sequence of events.   Box 1: Justin Bieber (JB) is walking into a library with his two friends to study.   Box 2: The three boys walk into the library and JB notices that his crush is studying at the library as well.
