Intro Blog

 


My name is Shadae Bennett I was born in Jamaica I have lived in Florida for around 7 or 8 years. I have a Mom, Dad, 2 older sisters and a nephew who is about to turn one in a few days. My favorite color is lavender I always liked the color and found in calming. I like swimming despite not being very good at it but I am practicing so hopefully I get better. I would consider myself a morning I hate sleeping in because then it gets dark quickly. I prefer rainy weather to sunny I always found the rain calming and therapeutic.  If I had to choose between living in the cold climate or a warm climate I will always choose the warm. I have traveled to 4 places in my life time which is to Florida(from Jamaica), Jamaica(for visiting), New York, and Georgia.

I tend to be competitive when it comes to board games I like to say I get it from my mom since we both get really competitive. My favorite subject in school science I like learning about living things in particular I like to learn about Marine science. Maybe cause we only know such a small part of the ocean that I find it interesting to learn about what they find down there. I also like to learn about ancient Greek mythology and the justifications about how the world works.

I love reading my current favorite book is a book called the gilded ones and I am currently reading the books sequel. My go to genres are comedy, thriller, or Fantasy but on occasion I will read/watch science fiction.

I don't have a favorite food I like all kinds of food and am open to try almost anything except steamed fish which I do not like at all. My favorite drink is tropical rhythms reggae medley it tastes like a fruit smoothie but a bit thinner. My favorite desert is Black forest cake which is like chocolate cake with cherry filling and whipped cream.

I go to Fort Lauderdale High School and I am currently a Junior and as a side note I would like to declare that the rumors that Junior year is the hardest year is true. I have been the law program in this school and my previous school for about 5 years all together and I am currently in the AICE/Cambridge program at my school. I decided to take AICE media because I wanted to learn how to see the world from a new perspective

  What conventions of the genre that you chose to base your final task on does this movie have?   Some conventions of the genre I chose to base my final task on that this movie has are the costumes and the shots, specifically point-of-view shots. In this movie, the characters wore a casual wardrobe for most of the movie which would make it easier on us when we begin filming to prevent as many extraneous variables as we can. Production Blog: Music Video

Hey blog it me coming again with my last blog for this project Today I cut all the dance scene since I the music video was too long and I needed it to fit in the given time range.  Then there was the issue of the music I had some trouble getting the sound onto the music video. Since Cap cut didn't have the correct song for the music video I went to a few websites and streaming platforms to get the song. That didn't work so I had to download an app that allowed me to record the song then add it to the music video. It took a while for me to get the hang of the app since I had to record the song like three times. The first time the video wouldn't stop so it recorded and unnecessary amount of the music video. The second time I recorded the song I realize you couldn't really hear the song so I had to make a few adjustments to the app. Eventually I was able to get the song to be heard on the recording it turns out all I had to do was switch the audio setting.   Hello World,   My group and I got to the part of our project where we got to make a storyboard for our music video. Each box is a scene that will occur in our music video in the future, each scene will be a sequence of events.   Box 1: Justin Bieber (JB) is walking into a library with his two friends to study.   Box 2: The three boys walk into the library and JB notices that his crush is studying at the library as well. The girl was studying by herself.   Box 3: When he saw her, he was mesmerized and looked at her as if she was the love of his life.
