Title the blogs: Title research: (Fight Club)

Today I researched the title design of the film "Fight Club" which I found on the art of the title website (https://www.artofthetitle.com/title/fight-club/) and this is what I found in my research!

-What titles are displayed during the opening sequences?

In the opening scene of the film "Fight Club" the titles that were displayed in the opening scene was the American entertainment company (Regency), the production company (Regency enterprises, Linson Films), the film production company (Fox 2000 Pictures), the film director (David Fincher), Main Actors names (Brad Pitt, Edward Norton, etc.) the name of the film, who casted the film, the costume designer, the special make-up effects supervisor, the sound designer, the creator of the music, the film editor, the production designer, the director of photography, the executive producer, what the film was based off of, created of the screenplay, and the producers.

-What images are prioritized in the opening sequence?

In the opening sequence the images that are prioritized are images leaving the "fear center" of a character's brain and at the very end it reveals the character which has a frightful expression while sweating.

-How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outset?

The film establishes the feeling of the genre from the outset because of the combination of both the music, title design, and images in the opening sequence. The music does not begin till about 15 seconds into the film and begins with a loud track of instruments which catches the audience's attention. The music was also fast paced, which gave the audience the effect of wondering what is going to happen next. As for the title designs, though they had the same font, color, location, etc. the transition on the titles appeared then suddenly dissolved. This along with the music increases the suspense factor and the audience's feeling of thrill. The images in the opening sequence also contributed to the establishing feeling of the genre because at first the audience is unsure of what they are watching and are wondering what is going on until the last few seconds of the film revealing a nervous sweaty looking character.
