Production Blog: Final Task

Today we(me and my team) started on our journey in producing the opening sequence to a film. The first thing we did was of course figure out a pitch something we could work on top off to continue on. We decided that our pitch would be "A group of friends playing a game with the little brother, but what does he see that they don't?". The Genre of the opening sequence is mystery, we made sure to do extensive research to make sure that this was the genre that matched our opening. After picking the genre for our film we then did more research to find out the certain elements needed in an opening. The elements being sound, lighting, editing and effects we had to take into great consideration the effect we wanted the elements to have on the audience. 

Once we figured out the main logistics of it we had to figure out the title. We had to make another great consideration with this we wanted it to truly reflect what our film was about. We haven't decided completely on our title we still have a little room for the changes but for now we have decided on "Charlie". It ties back in to the main antagonist of the film that is shown in the beginning. 

Once we established the main points we had to figure out the cast and who we wanted to play each role. the person needed for each role had to be someone who we could rely on to be there for the filming and someone who could play the role perfectly. 

We then of course had to figure out the filming schedule, the props, and where the filming would take place. It was difficult to figure out the filming schedule, this was because we each had our schedules packed for the next few months. After some searching and moving our schedules around we decided to film on February 20. This was the day that everyone would be off and could show up in time for filming. For it to be on this day everyone needs to show up early since we will be attempting to get all the filming done in that day. Before we could do that we had to find out where the filming would take place. We decided on the house of one of our teammates and also a nearby target.

I am working with Madelyn and Giovanna and have known them for around 1-2 years each. I met Giovanna in freshman year in my study hall and I met Madelyn last year in my English class.  Hey Blog is me again coming in with a new blog! We have reached the next step in making this project which is planning. Today I will be talking about the planning blog, the planning blog will talk what we prepared so far the music video. This blog will include the props, location, filming schedule, possible future plans and costumes for the music video. The location we will be mostly filming the music video is at the library. We thought this would be a good place to film as it matched the genre the best for our music video. Some other locations we planned to film include downtown Florida and the beach. The reason for this because there are a lot of scenic places in those regions that would be perfect for filming. For costume we decided a hat and sunglasses would be the major part of the costume since the lead who will be singing will wear the hat and glasses. Hey blog its me Shadae are you surprised, maybe not! Today I went to cap cut to finish my project and the worst thing had happened my commercial wasn't saved so the commercial was gone. I was beyond devastated so I decided to start making the commercial again. Luckily I have gotten used to most of the features on cap cut so it didn't really take me long to find the photos again. Then something you probably guessed would have happened well happened I change my mind on the pictures again. Well only one really I realized most of the videos were of me in one place so I decided to change he picture of me there for something else. The picture was of me at a restaurant with my family of course this was taken before they served the food. Then it was time to add the final piece of the puzzle to the commercial, the music.
